Central Links Golf Course began constructing new holes in the fall of 2007 to add more length and to speed up play for tournaments and busy weekends. The following changes are being made and will be ready for play by the fall of 2008 or spring of 2009:
•Hole 2 will become a completely new hole at a 515 yard par 5. The current hole is only 274 and has trouble everywhere. The new hole will speed up play and allow for a more open hole.
•Hole 3 will remain a par 3 but is being rebuilt to be lengthened from 163 yards to 213 yards from the blue tees.
•Hole 4 will remain a par 4, but will be lengthened to 315 yards from the current 232. The hole will still be reachable, but will require a 290 yard carry.
•Hole 8 is not receiving new construction, but new tees are being added to lengthen the hole to a 475 yard, uphill par 5.
•Overall, the changes will add 476 yards and increase the par from 33 to 35. New tees will be added to all holes allowing for red, white, and blue tee options.
We appreciate your patience as we under go this construction project.
